Nyah Fearties 1994
Line up still Davie, Stephen Michael and Allan with Alastair joining in when available. Started jam sessions at The MacLean Arms. Released “A Keech in a Poke” on cassette and JivaRock released “SKUD” a CD compilation of old Fearties tracks with some of the new songs from the cassette. Tours and Festivals in France, Holland and Derry again.















Saw this Guinness poster at a pub in Derry and thought it would suit the Fearties if the seagulls were crows flying over Lugton Kirk. That started a series of Craw drawings using scraper board that became the artwork for both the SKUD and Grampa Craw CDs.







The Craws were sent to Jivarock in France where local comic artist and graphic designer El Rotringo incorporated them into the CD booklet with some fairly dodgy computer generated text and textures.





























































We were still thinking of doing the next album as a vinyl record. The sketches below were ideas for the cover none of which made it to the finished CD. The big face of a 'Lugton Feartie' became a popular T-Shirt design (see first image on the 1993 page)








French record label didn’t like our “Commie” artwork! We used this on “A Keech in a Poke” cassette and the sketches below were used on the “Skud” CD.



Allan Feartie took the words to Robert Burns’ “Wullie Brewed a Peck o’ Maut” and put them to music as "Barley Bree”which is on SKUD. As a college project, to design a whisky brand, he used the Fearties song as inspitation...
